AT5i dispose of an "RS232" port capable of support the connection of the follows external peripherical: (ATrack CAN solution, Garmin PND FMI 2.0, Iridium Solution Kit, CMOS camera, RFID reader & Tag), connecting any of these peripherical you improve the technical features of ATrack tracker. You can select 3 different modes for locate your ATrack AT5i: (from the default ATrack server, change the IP/port to use an external tracking management platform, sending text messages with mobile phone via SMS). With AT5i GPS vehicle tracker can manage the "driver identification" using iButtons, manage the trailer ID or connect up to 4 temperature sensors for control your vehicle in real-time, you need connect these external devices to the (1-Wire) interface of ATrack GPS tracker. ATrack AT5i control the hours of service in the "driving behaviour´s" when detects the follows events in your vehicle: (overspeed, harsh cornering, harsh braking, harsh acceleration), these reports you can manage from the tracking management platform or from the ATrack server. For control the vehicle that has installed the AT5i GPS tracker, you can delimit up to 65 "Virtual geofences - (circular, polygonal, rectangular)" depending your need and can increase the safety of your vehicle from the distance, the geofences are ideal for field service management.
